My friend Sherri is on her way now to pick me up for brunch. Although, it's 1:05p... so technically I think it's more like just lunch - but brunch is so much more fun. So I'm still going to call it brunch. (God, I love brunch.)

After we eat, we will be seeing "Gypsy" at a theater in Hollywood. I'm pretty excited to see this show. I've never actually seen it live - and I've never been to this theater - and it's a musical... so it's shaping up to be a pretty exciting experience. 

And finally - today after 5p, I have to call in to see if I get to report for Jury Duty tomorrow. I'm so excited. I love Jury Duty and I really hope they pick me. I honestly think I would be the best juror.

My friend Jane is moving out of Los Angeles in about 18 days to go to New York for school.

I'm very happy for her - but very sad for me.

I'll miss your face, Jane - but don't think I won't bug the hell out of you on the phone once in a while. 

I can't watch other people brush their teeth - it makes my teeth hurt. 

(I know, it's weird - and my teeth don't hurt when I brush my own teeth - but watching others is just painful. What if they're using too much force? Ugh, just thinking about it gives me jitters.)

In the video below I tell my roommate Jesse about my experience at the American Laser Center and the possible pain I will go through for the price of beauty.

I heard a news story on the radio yesterday that men who drink coffee (and lots of it, about 6 cups per day) have less of a risk of getting the deadliest forms of prostate cancer. The findings are still being researched and confirmed, but I plan on drinking more than my usual two cups today. 

My kickball team dominated last night. We won 6-0 (I think that was the score). I had a pretty awesome kick to center field (if you'll allow me a minute to brag) and it would have scored at least two runs if it wasn't caught for the third out. But it doesn't matter about who got out or the score - it's about having fun. (But doing well and winning is just so much more fun.) 

In other news - my boss resigned yesterday. She will leave the company in early June. I'm so happy for her - but I will feel like a lost ship in the night at my job now. She is so awesome. I don't know if I can go on without her. We really were a great team. 

And finally - I have an appointment today to see a laser hair removal doctor (are they doctors?) for my neck. I hate shaving. I usually only use sideburn trimmers because my neck gets red bumps if I shave down to the skin (so unattractive) so I am going to see how much it will be for me to get it zapped off once and for all. (And by "once and for all" - I mean as long as the laser-ing lasts. I heard a rumor last night at kickball that it only lasts like eight years - what a sham!). So we'll see if my vanity wins out over my wallet.  

Wow - doesn't the title of this blog post just scream "READ ME! I have really cool and interesting things to say!!"

Yeah, my life is pretty boring - my only news this morning is that I'm using new insoles in my shoes and I hope they don't give me blisters.

If that doesn't make you want to date me, I don't know what will.

I like rainy days. 

Today marks the seventh anniversary that marriage equality started in Massachusetts. 

Happy Seventh Anniversary to those on the front lines. And thanks for helping to pave the way for the rest of us. 

So - apparently my car needed a new Hybrid Battery Cooling Pump, Hose, and Filter. 

No worries, it's under warranty, right? - Let's see here... oh it looks like your warranty expired on MARCH 9, 2011! Just two short months ago...
