Jesse's sister Christina straightens my hair for the first time ever - and I was very nervous about it.

I was talking with a coworker today about random things - and we got on the subject of my boss - who is leaving at the end of next week to be a stay-at-home mom.
I was mentioning how I was upset about losing her, but at the same time - she's leaving for something that she's wanted to do for awhile. And the coworker said "Yeah, I mean she's going to be holding life." - and I laughed. Because, that's just a funny statement, right? And the coworker said "No. Seriously. It's a whole new life for her." And that is when I realized that what she had originally said wasn't that my boss would be "holding life" - but rather going to a "whole new life." I quickly coughed out a response and walked away. I guess it's time for me to investigate hearing aids. Here's a quick wrap-up from my first real audition in Los Angeles. Ed Grimley, anyone? Maybe this isn't the most attractive picture you'll see of me. But I thought this was pretty humorous.
Happy Weekend to you! In the video below I tell my roommate Jesse about my experience at the American Laser Center and the possible pain I will go through for the price of beauty. Wow - doesn't the title of this blog post just scream "READ ME! I have really cool and interesting things to say!!"
Yeah, my life is pretty boring - my only news this morning is that I'm using new insoles in my shoes and I hope they don't give me blisters. If that doesn't make you want to date me, I don't know what will. It's ok that I hit "snooze" for an hour, right? I mean, it doesn't mean that I have a problem or issues or anything... it just means I'm sleepy... and it's Friday... so it's allowed... right?
God, I'm pathetic. We went wine tasting last weekend in Ojai, CA. and the waiter caught me staring at him. I'm sorry - I'm a starer! (starer? learer? oggler? Oggler makes me sound like a member of a strange race in a Harry Potter novel... Well, I don't think I'll be getting the call that I made the GMCLA Dance Team tomorrow.
I wasn't the most graceful - I wasn't the most flexible - and I was not the most attractive. But I was the only one that got called out for squealing. You're welcome. Tonight are dance auditions for the 80's Concert with GMCLA. I'm really freaking out about this. Last night they announced that the guy who is leading the auditions (and producing the choreography) is this amazing dancer from Broadway, etc. etc. So - he'll teach us two routines and then ask us to freestyle.
Freestyle. My freestyle in dance consists of The Sprinkler and The Charleston. So we'll see how this goes... |
