Nervous - but ready...
So Celine, since I know you are watching – because you have nothing better to do with your time than read a blog about finding a gay boyfriend – this jump is dedicated to you.

Here is another couple of pictures and the video of my skydiving trip on Sunday. Nervous - but ready... Now a little backstory – the instructor and my friend John had been talking about Montreal – and when I think Montreal, I think of my favorite Canadian: Celine Dion. So I dedicated my jump to her. Immediately following that statement, I realized I would survive the fall – not because of the Power of Celine Dion (which is quite great in its own right) – but because I knew I would live to be ridiculed for actually dedicating the jump to her and then justifying it by saying “She might watch it… who knows.” So Celine, since I know you are watching – because you have nothing better to do with your time than read a blog about finding a gay boyfriend – this jump is dedicated to you. I did it! I went skydiving!!!
Here are the pictures to prove it! A video will be uploaded soon - but here's just a few pics from the fall. I'm heading back to the recording booth today to do some re-recording for that student film soundtrack. How exciting.
But the real exciting news is that tomorrow I'M JUMPING OUT OF A PLANE!!! AHHHHHH!!!!!!! Apparently, I'm rubbing off on people (not like that...gross). But seriously - DateSteveScott.com now seems to have a sister site. I just found out about it yesterday that someone else tried to crunch their numbers and created a site of their own. I am going to get more details today and will let you know. How EXCITING! I'm still pretty nervous about this coming weekend when I am supposed to go skydiving. I feel like it's something I can legitimately be nervous about - but at the same time, if I'm so nervous - why am I doing it? Right?
Although, I would argue that if someone was planning on jumping out of a plane for the first time and they weren't nervous - than there are some other underlying issues there and they should probably seek professional help. Also this weekend is a recording session for that soundtrack for the student film that I am singing. So that's also exciting. But now I have to go to work - I have to drive to Woodland Hills today - how fun for me, right? It's Monday - I'm supposed to jump out of a plane on Sunday - and I'm already freaking out.
seriously. freaking. out. Jam out today because the weekend is HERE!!! This is a bit of an older song - but still just as good today as it was back in 2007. I usually shop at a Ralph's grocery store - there is one near where I work and one near where I live, so it's more of a proximity issue than a loyalty issue - but there you have it. Because it's the chain grocery store I frequent most often, I have a Ralph's Rewards card - which is great for on the spot savings.
However, Ralph's is now also sending me coupons in the mail. WTF Ralph's!?! If I wanted coupons, I would have actually clipped coupons before shopping at your store. I don't want to have to remember to bring coupons with me to the grocery store - THAT'S WHY I GOT YOUR REWARDS CARD! Why can't I just automatically get the deal with my card instead of having to remember to bring in the coupon? I'm not sure how you feel about it Ralph's, but to me this feels like a love on the rocks. Today at the office, there was a slight accident - no one was seriously injured and everyone is going to be ok (so I don't feel too guilty about this post) but the place was crawling with Firemen and EMT's afterward.
Put a man in uniform - and the rest of the criteria on this site go out the window. If he's in a uniform, he's in the 122! I know I haven't been the best lately about updating this blog. I'm really digging in with Gay Day planning - it's making me really nervous.
- AND - I'm making another website for The Cuddlers. So that has me busy as well. There are a few other projects coming up that are keeping my nose to the keyboard and I will hopefully be able to tell |
