Tonight I went to an event in WeHo for the USC Law School LGBT Organization amazingly named "OutLaw." 

While the event wasn't a success in terms of me finding a member of the 122 - it was great to be in a room full of incredibly bright people who will be (or hopefully be) a driving force in the future of the LGBT community. 

Of course, not I have Whitney Houston stuck in my head... "I believe that children are our future..." 

Regardless - it as a very optimistic evening. And it was at Fiesta Cantina - and here's a little secret  - I rarely turn down an opportunity to have a margarita. (Rocks, No Salt.)

("Rocks, No Salt" is TOTALLY going to be the name of the gay boy band super group I'm forming with Lance Bass, Ricky Martin, Adam Lambert and Sam Sparro.) ((JK - I don't know any of those guys, but if I did, we'd totally start a gay boy band super group.))  

If a night out in West Hollywood is good for anything, it's good for making you completely insecure about your body. 

It's time to work out! ...right after some brunch at IHOP.

(PS - I actually just went down the list of my categories to see if "gym" made it on the list - I was saddened but not  surprised that it was missing. Not a single reference to working out - three references to food. ...priorities.)

Alright - I'm heading to West Hollywood tonight for an event. This will be the first time I make the trek to WeHo with the business cards. It's the first major push to promote the site to the intended audience of gay men here in LA. 

I'm sure I will go and have a great time - but I'm actually really nervous. I was at a bar with a friend a few days ago and tried to hand out a couple of cards to women - and was totally rejected. Literally. One handed the card back to me - and the other refused to take it altogether. Granted, they were women and therefore not the intended audience - but rejection is rejection. 

Here's hoping for better luck tonight. 

My roommate Jesse was on a date (with a girl, but they went to The Abbey in WeHo) - and I decided to check it out. But I made one small mistake when I decided to bike there. 

Alright, I'm going out tonight - to West Hollywood (gasp). And I'm not sure what to wear. Seriously, I'm nervous. I'm going to be with people who are awesome - and I don't want to look stupid. 

ALSO - tonight will be the first night that I actually try to promote the site to potential 122-ers. I don't have the business cards yet, but maybe I can verbally spread the message - or maybe I can print something out... but that might look cheap - and the last thing I need right now is to look cheap.
