If you don't mind movies that are less about plot and more about visual elements - then you should see Thor. 

I love pretty much anything that takes place in space - and if the movie includes amazing visual effects of the galaxy - I am in!

Thor has some great visual effects of both space and the different worlds of the characters. 

However, there are more than just sweeping views of the universe in Thor. 

Oh yes. 

There are some visual elements that really make this movie one to watch on the big screen.

Alright, I'm a fan of the Scream Movies - so should I go see Scream 4 or wait for video? I'm really trying to budget, and I'm trying to only go to movies in theaters that are "BIG SCREEN" movies - (think Avatar, Star Trek, Love & Other Drugs, etc) - and I'm not sure Scream 4 constitutes as a big screen movie... 

... and if you know of a place where I can see a 30-foot tall and mostly-naked Jake Gyllenhaal again, please share.

I have been reading the book "Game Of Thrones" - and I just finished last night. It was really good - and I highly recommend it. I am very excited for the HBO show coming out this weekend.

They were promoting the show at Hollywood & Highland yesterday with The Iron Throne - and I decided I needed my picture taken... 

... twice. 

Rest In Peace Liz Taylor - I'm learning more about you now than I did while you were alive, and I feel bad about it. 


In other news - Indiana Sucks. 

And Michael Douglas and Matt Damon are preparing to have more than one on-screen kiss in an upcoming Liberace movie. 

The marriage ban is obviously upsetting - and I fear that the on-screen kiss might be disturbing only because of the actors involved. I feel like Matt Damon will just make it really awkward and Michael Douglas will just make it really old. 

I am about to go to dinner with friends - I'm excited and then for the movie, I'm thinking I will watch something on Netflix. 

Should I go to bed early? Yes. Should I read some of the books I purchased this weekend? Obviously. 

But will I end up laying on the couch watching a period drama and crocheting? Most likely.
