I wanted to compliment a coworker on a cool necklace she was wearing - but instead of just saying "Hey, your necklace is cool" like any normal person would do, I decided to point to her and motion to my chest and say "I like this. It's pretty."
Thankfully, she picked up on what I was saying - so it wasn't too awkward.
But that could have seriously gone awry.
Could you imaging if I had made the same hand gestures but with an even worse comment like "You should accent this more."
Lawsuits are fun, right?
