I just came into my room where I had left my iTunes Radio on to Classical KDFC out of San Francisco. They were playing Fanfare For The Common Man - and that's pretty awesome. And it leads me to reveal the following fact about me:
I love classical music. I do. I'm not sure how it happened - it's not like central Nebraska was a haven to classical artists and/or performances - but there's just something completely awesome about classical music.
That's not to say that I don't enjoy other types of music - pop, jazz, rock, country, showtunes (hello!), etc. But how great is a bottle of wine and some classical music at the Hollywood Bowl!?! (Answer: really great)
I'm not a crazy snob about it. I won't talk your ear off about which Brandenburg Concerto is my favorite (cough - No. 3), but you might get into my car and it might be on the radio. Of course, you might get in my car and I'm blasting the latest hit from Young Jeezy, too. It could really go either way.
(Alright, I'll admit it - I have no idea who Young Jeezy is - but I'm sure he has some jams.)
