This week I decided I was sick of the blinds in my room. So I borrowed a friends sewing machine and decided to make myself curtains. Why make them, you ask? For two reasons - 1) I have a box of black fabric that I got for an event and didn't end up using AND 2) I'm cheap and didn't want to pay for curtains.
SO - here's the sewing station I created in my dining room.

Are they pretty - not really. Will they win any awards? Absolutely not.
Were they cheap and kept me busy on a Sunday? Yes.
I guess I could steam them to get those wrinkles out - but that will just happen over time anyway right? (And I'm lazy... so there's that.)
