I forgot to mention in the last post why I titled it "Domesticated yet manly" - because I also purchased a power tool. It's a power screw driver - and I needed it to screw in the curtain rod brackets. So even though I sew my own curtains, I'm still manly enough to install them myself - that counts for a few masculine points, right?
