I actually haven't spend enough time in New York to actually love it. I think total I've spent two days in NYC.
BUT REGARDLESS!
This weekend, marriage equality becomes official in New York. They're already handing out over 800 marriage licenses to same-sex couples on Sunday and I'm sure there will be many, many more before this time next week.
This with the Certification of Repeal of Don't Ask, Don't Tell - which could possibly take place TODAY (and would then require another 60 day waiting period) - - AND - - the Senate taking up the repeal of The Defense of Marriage Act!! It's all so exciting!
The equality movement feels like it's gaining momentum. It is getting better.
