The Senate Judiciary Committee is holding a hearing today on the "Respect For Marriage Act" which would basically repeal 1996's "Defense of Marriage Act" (or DOMA).
It's a big day to be gay - and I'm really excited.
Just the fact that the Judiciary Committee is holding the hearing means progress. But if it were to pass the Judiciary Committee and go to the Senate Floor, we'd have some work to do.
